Ingredients
- 5 mlRed bitter liqueur
- 45 mlRye whiskey 50% abv
- 30 mlApricot liqueur
- 15 mlAmaro (e.g. Averna)
- 15 mlAromatic bitters
- 7.5 mlApplejack brandy
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
- 3RINSE chilled glass with red bitter liqueur ((swirl around to coat and discard excess) and set to one side.
- 4STIR other ingredients with ice.
- 5STRAIN into ice-filled, pre-rinsed glass.
- 6EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
