Ingredients
- 2.5 mlRed bitter liqueur
- 45 mlRye whiskey 50% abv
- 15 mlMaraschino liqueur
- 15 mlDry vermouth
- 7.5 mlAmaro (e.g. Meletti)
- 2 dashOrange bitters
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
- 3POUR red bitter liqueur into chilled/frozen glass and turn to coat inside of glass.
- 4Discard excess and set glass aside.
- 5STIR other ingredients with ice.
- 6FINE STRAIN into red bitter liqueur-rinsed glass.
- 7EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
