- 10 mlAbsinthe
- 30 mlTennessee whiskey
- 30 mlHoney herbal liqueur
- 2 dashCreole bitters
- 2 dashAromatic bitters
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
- 3POUR absinthe into ice-filled glass, TOP with water and set aside.
- 4Separately, STIR whiskey, liqueur and bitters with ice.
- 5DISCARD contents of glass (absinthe, water and ice).
- 6STRAIN stirred cocktail into absinthe-coated glass (no ice in glass).
- 7EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and discard.
