  • 50 mlCalvados apple brandy
  • 15 mlRye whiskey 50% abv
  • 10 mlSugar syrup (2:1)
  • 3 dashCreole bitters
  • 1 dashAromatic bitters

    Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.

    Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist and lemon zest knot.

    POUR absinthe into chilled glass and roll glass so as to coat the inside with absinthe.

    Discard excess and set glass aside.

    STIR other ingredients with ice.

    STRAIN into absinthe-rinsed glass.

    Express lime zest twist over cocktail and discard.

    Garnish with a lemon zest knot.
