Ingredients
- 45 mlRye whiskey 50% abv
- 15 mlOrange-red aperitivo
- 15 mlRosso/sweet vermouth
- 7.5 mlAmaro (e.g. Averna)
- 2 dashCherry bitters
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
- 3STIR all ingredients with ice.
- 4STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
- 5EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
- 6SMOKE (ideally with cherry wood) before serving.
