Ingredients
- 5 mlChartreuse Green
- 45 mlCognac (brandy)
- 15 mlSingle malt Scotch whisky
- 7.5 mlSugar syrup (2:1)
- 3 dashCreole bitters
- 2 dashAromatic bitters
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
- 3POUR Chartreuse into glass and twirl to coat inside with liqueur.
- 4Fill glass with ice and set aside.
- 5Separately, STIR other ingredients with ice in mixing glass.
- 6DISCARD contents of glass (Chartreuse and ice).
- 7FILL Chartreuse-coated glass with fresh ice and STRAIN contents of mixing glass.
- 8EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
