Ingredients
- 30 mlCognac (brandy)
- 30 mlLight white rum
- 30 mlBourbon whiskey
- 30 mlCrème de violette
- 1 dashOrange bitters
- 1 dashAromatic bitters
- 1 dashXocolatl mole bitters
- 3 pinch Lychee rose tea
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of orange zest twist and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
- 3POUR first 7 ingredients (all except tea) into stirring glass.
- 4SMOKE tea using a chef's smoker and direct smoke into stirring glass.
- 5Cover stirring glass to capture smoke for a minute or so.
- 6Remove cover, add ice and STIR.
- 7STRAIN into chilled glass.
- 8EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish, along with skewered maraschino cherry.
