Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.

Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist and mint sprigs.

Fill glass with ice and STIR until water forms in base of glass.

Add more ice and continue stirring to cool glass.

STRAIN water from glass.

POUR whisky into ice-filled glass and top with more ice to brim of glass.

STIR whisky and ice, adding more ice to keep ice level with brim.

Lastly, add chilled water and briefly stir some more.

EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and discard.

Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.
