Ingredients
- 45 mlRye whiskey 50% abv
- 7.5 mlSugar syrup (2:1)
- 3 dashCreole bitters
- 4 dashAbsinthe
Method
- 1Select and pre-chill a ROCKS GLASS.
- 2Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
- 3Fill glass with ice and set aside.
- 4In another glass, STIR other ingredients with ice.
- 5Empty ice from the glass you set aside and RINSE this now chilled glass with absinthe (or Herbsaint).
- 6STRAIN the cocktail into the absinthe/Herbsaint-washed glass.
- 7EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
